Each year many employees are letting vacation days go unused in America. According to a recent study published by the U.S. Travel Association, ”41% of paid workers let vacation days go to waste!” Although, it is widely accepted that taking time off to relax from work is healthy and can add to a more productive work environment many people still aren’t taking all the time they can. This is why we’ve created the “Quick-Away” promotion!

This package allows guests to turn a Friday/Saturday stay into a three-day weekend! So Enjoy a Quick-Away & Stay One More Day, now through June 19, 2015! Martin Resorts, INC is continuing to partner with Clean the World - a social enterprise with the mission of saving millions of lives around the world. Clean the World leads a Global Hygiene Revolution to distribute recycled soap and hygiene products from more than 2,250 hotel and resort partners to children and families in countries with a high death rate. Hand washing with soap significantly reduces the impact of two fatal diseases: acute respiratory infection and diarrheal disease. These are two of the top killers of children under 5 years old. To help save those lives, recycled soap is the primary ingredient in Clean the World’s global hygiene revolution. Martin Resorts is proud to be apart of the cause.
In 2014 we collected 4,303 lbs. of soap from our 5 combined hotels. This means that Martin Resorts has contributed to a distribution of 22,949 bars of life saving soap worldwide! The Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse is proud to now serve Certified Angus Beef entrées! Certified Angus Beef must pass 10 added quality standards regarding marbling, maturity, sizing, appearance and tenderness. In fact only 1 in 4 Angus cattle meets the brand’s high standards. These standards are not required of USDA Prime, Choice and Select grades and makes Certified Angus Beef a cut above the rest.
The Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse is now officially offering their guests premium quality beef to each table. Abundantly flavorful. Incredibly tender. Naturally juicy. We encourage you to order and taste the difference!
This holiday season The Paso Robles Inn partnered with a local middle school library to help get into the spirit of giving. George H. Flamson Middle School went through their library collection, noting books they felt would benefit their students. The Paso Robles Inn then put the name of the books on special tags that hung from their lobby Christmas tree. Guests had the opportunity to purchase a book by placing their cash or check donation in an envelope and writing their name on a donated tag which was later place on the book.
The Giving Tree was a success! A total of $384.00 was raised which left George H. Flamson Middle School with 32 new additions to their library.
Martin Resorts would like to thank all of those who donated to the cause!

As California continues to experience a severe drought, all five of Martin Resorts locations are promoting long term water conservation plans. These programs are aimed at reducing water usage and have been in effect since Spring 2014.
Our collection of premier hotels including three hotels in Pismo Beach, the Pismo Lighthouse Suites, BEST WESTERN PLUS Shore Cliff Lodge, and BEST WESTERN PLUS Shelter Cove Lodge, one hotel in Avila Beach, the Avila Lighthouse Suites and one hotel and restaurant in Paso Robles, the Paso Robles Inn and Steakhouse have all implemented the following:
- Made the switch from glassware to recyclable paper products to reduce dish-washing. Glassware now available upon request.
- The Project Planet linen program, where we change the sheets every 3rd day and replace towels left on the floor, unless otherwise requested.
- Updated landscaping with drought tolerant plants and new irrigation systems.
- Installed water efficient toilets, shower heads and faucets.
- New single cup coffee pots to eliminate waste of water (extra coffee made, washing etc)
- Guest are asked if they want water in the restaurant. Waters are not automatically served.
We invite guests to join us by following these conservation efforts with the hopes to effectively reduce the amount of water consumption.
