The Gardens are Expanding at the Paso Robles Inn

There is a lush new garden setting to greet arriving guests at the front of the Paso Robles Inn.  The Inn recently removed seven parking places and expanded the gardens to the front of the Inn to better connect the Paso Robles Inn with the look of the park across the street and allude to the beautiful gardens that have always been popular with guests, but have been hidden behind the lobby building. The wandering brick path and seating area are designed to be the perfect place to relax and enjoy a specialty coffee.  Yes, also planned for this spring is a new specialty coffee menu from the redesigned Coffee Shop.  The nostalgic coffee shop is getting a face lift, but will retain its classic charm.

See the garden expansion transformation here: http://flipagram.com/f/1VPxRmmSiT, or see for yourself by visiting the Paso Robles Inn!

The Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse Welcomes New Executive Chef

The Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse is proud to announce the addition of Executive Chef Paul Arangorin to the culinary team.

Chef Paul Arangorin

Chef Arangorin brings seven years of culinary experience to his new position and is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy Le Cordon Bleu. In 2012, Arangorin had the opportunity to compete in Sunset’s Savor the Central Coast Battle of the Bay competition – and he won!  Watch this video to see how Chef Paul prepared for the competition.

“Chef Arangorin’s passion for food and innovative style will bring a new dimension to the Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse,” noted Margaret Johnson, COO of Martin Resorts.

A San Luis Obispo County local, Arangorin developed a passion for cooking at a very young age and attributes his love affair with food to his parents- avid entertainers who enlisted Paul’s help to cook food for family parties and events. Chef Arangorin then expanded his culinary experiences internationally, cooking abroad in Asia. “My experience abroad taught me appreciation for every ingredient in a dish and taught me the importance and benefits from locally sourced food,” says Arangorin.

In his new role, Arangorin will oversee all culinary functions at the Inn. He plans to showcase the flavors of each season and feature the bounty of the Paso Robles area in his unique dishes. Visit the Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse and help welcome Chef Paul to the team!

5 Romantic Things to Do in San Luis Obispo County

1.    A sunset walk on the beach: Stroll through the sand and catch a sunset on the ocean. We suggest Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, or Montana De Oro.

2.   Relax with a message or spa treatment: All the luxurious pampering you and your loved one deserve; from Sea Salt Exfoliation to an Avila Beach Mud wrap at The Spa Central Coast.

3.     Romantic dinner for two:  You can never go wrong with a candle lit dinner for two. Enjoy the local tastes of Custom House, Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse, F.M. McClintocks, Giueseppes, and Ventana Grill.

4.     Dinner and a show: Snuggle up with your Valentine at the Sunset Drive In movie theater, or visit the Historic Fremont Movie Theater for a vintage feel.

5.     Indulge in sweets and sip Champagne : Toast to your loved one at Cuvee in Avila Beach with a glass of bubbly and chocolate covered strawberries.
